The commodore thanked outgoing council members for their input and efforts during their time in office: Mark Somerville (Grounds Chair), John Reekie (Sailing Sec.), David Lawson (Asst. Sailing Sec.) & Pauline Nicholson (Welfare Officer).
The accounts were adopted and the subs agreed as proposed, with the exception of the winter boat storage fee. A proposal was made at the meeting (and carried by vote) to raise the winter boat storage fee to £75 starting from 15th December 2025 (pay now to avoid the increase for this season).
An update of the Slipways project was delivered by the Slipways committee chair, Andy Smith, demonstrating excellent progress. There was a comprehensive discussion and enthuiasm from the AGM attendees to continue with the project.
There were discussions about camping, sailing participation and ideas to help get more boats on the water.
