Kestrel 1641 was built by Hartley in 2017 and sold in October that year. It was lightly sailed, often with 1:1 instruction in 2018 but has not been used since. It has probably only been on the water 10 times, if that.
It was gifted to PEYC as a club loan boat early in 2025, but a fully spec�d Kestrel is not ideal to loan to relatively new sailors (We have a very basic Laser 13 for that) so we have agreed with the donor to sell it and the proceeds will go into the club funds for other boats in the club fleet of yachts and dinghies.
Sails are in excellent condition, spinnaker is still crinkly new. Road base is good, trolley wheels are new. Cover is new, we have a trailing undercover and rudder bag. The boat is rigged with all adjustments, moveable jib cars, mast ram, roller furled genoa, and has a split tail main and tapered spinnaker sheets. It�s a fully spec�d race boat.
