Made by Hartley Boats the Byte C1 is a fantastic single handed, light weight, streamline performance dinghy for light to mid weight sailors.
This boat is particularly comfortable to sail with its high boom position, easy to use controls, centre main and tidy, simple traveller system.
In stronger winds the carbon fibre mast will bend allowing the rig to de-power making it all the more forgiving and fun to sail. The hull weight of only 45kg means it’s easy to right after a capsize and easy to launch and tow.

This boat comes with all the necessary rigging – main sail (with batons), rudder and dagger board (with cover), boom and carbon fibre mast. But also, a spare rudder launching trailer, road trailer (equipped with brand new tyres), 3 spare bungs, metal stake to secure boat when stored outside, mast head buoyancy and a sail repair kit plus a few other spare pins etc.
The boat has been sailed for two seasons and then on and off for a couple of years before being parked up the boat park for a while due to other commitments. All things considered; it really hasn’t been used that much and certainly doesn’t look very used!
The only damage to it is a small chip on the bow that can be fixed (shown in photos) and a few scuff marks that can be polished out.
