Saturday’s forecast didn’t look too promising. Fortunately the peak winds didn’t arrive so the fleet got out for a blast round the lake.
OD Banter Phil did some great courses to suit the conditions. Neil and Archie in the 400 surprisingly managed to keep it sunny site up for once, and won both races on handicap followed by Caroline in the Lightning. Neil and Archie lead the series

Sunday on the other hand was the direct opposite. As there was no wind at the start time, the OD postponed to give it a chance to fill in. It did so a start as made on a windward leeward course with a very intermittent breeze. Dave and Lynn in the GP14 won the first race followed by Mike and Jack in the Graduate. Second race was following the same theme and likely winners. However just as Neil and Archie finished the wind disappeared leaving the rest on the fleet somewhat isolated. “Them’s the break’s” Neil and Archie lead this series as well
