With the onset of autumn, and the club championship complete, Saturday’s racing was for the Autumn Saturday series that runs through October. Overall there were 16 competitors, and it was Caroline in her Lightning that mastered the light airs to lead the series with a 1st and a joint first with Neil/Archie. AJ/Sue in a GP secured a 2nd and 4th, and are presently 2nd overall ahead of Mike/Jack in their Graduate.

By contrast, Sunday was breezy but the SSW resulted in a huge hole at A which formed part of the course… Lesson learnt for the second race, which was better as the course used B 2 4 and kept the fleet in breeze. Telf/Jack in their GP won both races, and so they lead the series, with Artur in his Aero 2nd, and Neil/Archie in their RS400 3rd.
