The October series finished this weekend with Nigel Lewis and Steve Hunt in contention for the honours. A miserable day on Saturday with wind and rain saw Steve take pole position with some good results – a first and third.
On Sunday the weather was the opposite -� bright sunshine but no wind. The OD provided some impetus to the crews to launch by going to the far shore and setting a line. Without a lot of enthusiasm they eventually followed and two very slow races later they returned.
Overall Steve and Ruth� held on to their lead to win the series from Nigel and Cecile.
