Clearly many of you had an abstemious New Year not needing to work off over indulgences as there was a select few of about 20 members that opted to take the high route over the renowned Sale Fell, or the low route through to Wythop Mill and Embleton, for the first walk of the year.… Read full article “Winter Walk”

There will be a various games, some carol singing, and Santa is expected to pop in.
Please bring sandwiches/snacks for a bring and eat buffet for the children, but there’s bound to be a few nibbles left for the adults no doubt.

Winter Weather
With Winter taking its grip on the country, and thoughts of sailing slipping away, please don’t forget to remove your boat from the club grounds for safety.
You are, of course, welcome to leave your boat on site for a nominal fee which should be paid to the membership secretary, but please arrange to move it away from the foreshore and minimise the risk of damage through flooding
Grant Application Update

We have just been informed that it was unsuccessful as we had not demonstrated that there was latent demand to participate in sailing which would be freed up by the provision of additional Olympic Laser class club boats or renovating the ladies changing room.
