With a better wind in the Scarness narrows, various sailors were keen to make use of it on Saturday in the Asymmetric Cup/MJM series. With clear blue skies, and 20C temperature, the champagne conditions brought out 23 boats.

The sunshine continues but the temperature eased with the NE wind. Including the Catapult fleet, which joined us again as part of their travel we s trophy series, there was over 40 boats on the water.

This weekend the club hosted a Mirror open alongside club racing resulting in a total of 46 boats on the water. The sun was shining, but there was a cool easterly blowing that put several sailors off racing.

Saturday sunshine and a SSW breeze tempted out 11 boats for the first races in the Asymmetric cup and MJM trophy.
