The National Mirror Inland Championships were held at Bassenthwaite Lake over the three-day bank holiday weekend. Fifty-three boats entered from as far afield as Plymouth and Shetland.

A strong fleet of 40 boats took to the water on the first day of the GP14 NW Area Championships. The winds picked up over the afternoon, and many places were won and lost on various beats.
