The fleet challenge C brought out a number of new faces to racing including Sam Evans and Jonathan Connor. The final race of the Night Jar B Thursday night series managed to be squeezed in before the evenings get too dark. Six boats entered the final race in very light winds. While the Tinker fleet held one of their annual rallies at Bass, some of our RS fleet ventured to Ullswater for their RS open. Robbie D and Toggle came out best from the competitive (if small) fleet. It is with great sadness that we learnt of his tragic death in a car accident early on Friday morning. |
