First day of Summer! Somewhat overcast, but the wind doth blow (a bit at least), from the forecast SW direction. The wind is due to pick up later in the afternoon, and give a good blast tomorrow!

Saturday 14th. June 2008, Junior North West Travellers Series. Congratulations to Sam Hall who won all three races and received his trophy from Bolton SC’s Commodore.All competitors are looking forward to competing at Bassenthwaite on July 5th.

Was looking on google map for somewhere – then got distracted and looked at the club. Anyway could make out the buoys quite easily from Whitehaven – what’s the problem? Hugh

Racing comprised the Asymmetric Cup and the Max Joule Memorial Trophy.
