Winter Walk
There was a good turnout for the Winter walk by members young and old.
Sale Fell, which regularly is the bane of our sailing experience, was the target for the main group, while another cohort walked a lower route through the forest.
As can be seen, just, the weather on the top of Sale Fell was somewhat misty.
Everyone made it back to the club for lunch and then the DragonForce fleet took to the water for some light competition…
Stormy weather
Members who have left their boats on site should check that they are secured appropriately during the current weather conditions. You can then settle down and enjoy your Christmas celebrations!
Have yourself a Merry Christmas
Santa paid his annual visit to the club today, arriving by boat with some Rudolph red flares!
After handing out some presents to all the kids at the Christmas party, everyone joined in to sing carols and Christmas songs before Santa carried on with his busy schedule.
Christmas Stocking Filler
Associate membership of the RYA is a newly created category available to our members. If joining online a discount of £5 can be claimed by use of code TCPP5. So spouses could buy their other half membership at the discounted rate, or kids could put this code in their parents stocking!
Another option would be a club tie as we have recently purchased a small supply of ties emblazoned with the club logo. Pick one up at the children’s party this Sunday
Children’s Christmas Party
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!!! Only 12 sleeps to go!!
It’s the children’s Christmas party this Sunday from 3pm, all are welcome, both young and old, please could I ask you to bring some savoury and/or sweet party food contributions for the communal party table!
