Saturday Update
The morning breeze filled the lake with white horses from the southerly breeze, but as the race time approached the wind eased to give the sailors some exciting legs in the Celebrity Glass pursuit. William and Elaine were last to start in the race and should have paid more attention to where the fleet went, as they headed for 4 instead of 5!… Read full article “Saturday Update”
Night Jar
It was a beautiful evening, but the wind looked as if it was going to fade before racing got underway. Fortunately it held and it was over 30mins after the start before it did die, and then came in from another direction!… Read full article “Night Jar”
Bank Holiday Monday
What a glorious day – our turn for the sunny bank holiday? The wind is struggling to settle down to the forecast SW direction which should be topped up by a sea breeze in early afternoon. There was a postponement waiting for the wind to steady(?!)… Read full article “Bank Holiday Monday”

Sunday Sun
It looked like we could have been waiting for the wind for a while this morning. At least we had a glorious view while we’re waiting though 🙂
Unexpectedly the wind did fill in enough to get racing underway by 12 Noon, but it was never forecast to be exciting!… Read full article “Sunday Sun”
Bank Holiday Monday
Another glorious day to brag about – especially as other parts of the country will be publicising a ‘typical wet bank holday’
The day started with a good south easterly, but it faded as on Sunday. Fortunately it sprang back and racing got underway almost on time (OD Ian Campbell had threatened to start on time all weekend).… Read full article “Bank Holiday Monday”
